HR Access named “Cool Vendor” by Gartner
July, 2008: HR Access, a leading provider of Payroll and HR management software and outsourcing services, announced that it has been included in the “Cool Vendors in Sourcing and IT Services, 2008” report published by Gartner Inc.
Gartner’s selection of “cool vendors” include companies who are “innovating in the IT services marketplace and are bringing new energy, creativity and leading-edge visions of how to deliver value to their customers.”
HR Access is a platform-based vendor of HR Outsourcing services. As a subsidiary of Fidelity Investment, HR Access provides a bridge between SaaS and BPO for buyers of HR outsourcing services. Specifically, it has concentrated on allowing customers to buy HR, payroll, time and attendance, and talent management services on a modular basis from its platform.
It has also emphasised a “reversibility” concept that allows buyers to migrate from HR software to outsourcing and back with minimum risk; in doing so, it helps customers strike a careful balance between the “in” and the “out” among those that worry about becoming “overoutsourced” or delegating too much process management, too soon.
